Abigail had been a housedog in her previous life and was abandoned at a trailer to survive on her own for over a year. She was extremely fearful and did not know if it was safe to come out from under the bed or not. She has come a long way and it seems that her fear has been replaced with a need for affection. She is cautious around strangers on our adoptions Saturdays but still reaches out for affection and attention. She is very comfortable in her foster home and is allowed on the furniture and in the bed. She opts to sleep at the end of the bed, mainly because she is the smallest of 5 dogs and must give in to being the smallest and weakest of the pack. She loves to play with all the other dogs but loves to be just a couch potato the most. She is housetrained and uses a doggy door.
